MC&MA Will Deliver
1. Gas Processing & Gas-to-Energy Infrastructure
MC&MA will be entering Suriname as a fully integrated downstream energy and petrochemical services provider but not as an exploration company.
To deliver world-class gas processing, petrochemical, energy, and research infrastructure that strengthens Suriname’s industrial base, creates competitive downstream products, and supports sustainable national development.
2. Petrochemical Facility Expansion & Industrial Development
MC&MA’s scope will cover the expansion and modernization of Suriname’s petrochemical infrastructure. This includes:
- Methanol, ammonia and urea production units
- Polymerization and small-scale plastics production modules
- Petrochemical blending and refining upgrades
- Industrial tank farms, storage terminals, pipelines and marine offloading systems
- Our goal is to transform Suriname into a competitive producer of fertilisers, polymers, industrial solvents and other high-value petrochemicals.
3. Ultra-Modern Research, Testing & Development Laboratories
MC&MA will design and build state-of-the-art analytical and industrial labs, including:
- Chemical & petrochemical QA/QC labs
- Catalyst development and reaction engineering labs
- Digital simulation & industrial process control centres
- Environmental monitoring and emissions testing labs
- Materials testing & corrosion research centres
- These labs will support quality assurance, product development, workforce training and industrial innovation across every sector of the economy.

MC&MA will operate as a turnkey downstream services company offering
MC&MA’s scope will cover the expansion and modernization of Suriname’s petrochemical infrastructure. This includes:
- Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC)
- Commissioning & Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
- Laboratory services & certification
- Catalyst supply & regeneration
- Technical and vocational training for local workforce
- Digital plant monitoring & predictive maintenance
